We had to pivot the night before when we found out nearly 70mm of rain was moving in for their day. These two were so open and easygoing, fully trusting whatever Mother Nature had in store. Between the golden sunset the night before and the torrential downpour the day after, it somehow all felt absolutely perfect.
We’re working on blogging this elopement because eloping in BC is fcking incredible, and C & M planned the most beautiful, intentional trip. Cannot wait to share more— stay tuned.

We came to capture, but stayed for the tacos and octopus and margarita's. Need I say more?

I've had the pleasure of capturing B & M's special milestones, as well as get to know these two, and well this session hit me in a very soft spot.
I captured them in their empty apartment, the one they planned to move out of that day. This was their very first home together, where they fell in love. This was my second time capturing them here and oh man, seeing them dance in the empty bones of their loft made me tear up.
Once we finished one roll of 35mm film, we jumped in the car and headed to their next forever home. Another beautiful loft, with some very unique touches (they have a reading nook lit by a sky light and you sit on a floating bed, my freakin dream.)
They danced, they cuddled and they shared their beautiful new abode with me. We captured one more roll on B&W and called it a day.
Simple, timeless and so very sweet. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when they are old and grey looking back at these photographs.
A & A opted for a relaxed and stylish event. They were present for their whole cocktail hour, which was extremely important to them.
They snuck out for a private drink at sunset while we snapped them candidly. It was truly a dream working with these two.

These two hosted an incredible weekday intimate wedding at whispering springs. It was so laid back, and such a celebration of love. I think a Wednesday wedding is my new fave!
This year shot a TON of film, and not only that, we branched into some colour, and it has completely refuelled my love for those candid, in the moment photos but with such a vibe.
We celebrated so hard yesterday that my face hurts from smiling.
Can't wait to share this day & this incredible couple.
