The Art of Group Singing; A four-week online song circle with Aimée Ringle, exploring group singing and the craft of song stewardship.
Online zoom calls will be on Thursdays, March 26 - April 16th, from 5:00-6:30 pm, Pacific Standard Time.
Songs have long been a way people come together—to connect, to build resilience, and to care for one another. This series is a four-week set of song circles rooted in shared singing, with regular and thoughtful attention to the craft of song leading.
Each call centers on singing together. We learn and share a variety of songs from different creators and song leaders, offered for many kinds of moments and occasions.
Alongside the singing, we gently tend the practice of song leading—paying attention to how songs are introduced, how participation is invited, and how a groups energy can be supported and held with care.
These circles invite listening on multiple levels: to our own voices, to one another, and to what wants to move through the group. We explore how songs are received and carried, and how they can be offered in ways that build trust, ease, and a sense of shared presence.
The emphasis throughout is on singing together as the heart of the practice, with craft woven in as lived experience, rather than instruction. Presence matters more than polish, and everyone is welcome to participate in the way that feels right.
No prior musical experience is required—only a willingness to show up, listen, and sing together!
Sliding scale $75-$200 (please select the payment amount that works for you).

✨🌿 ATRAVESAR✨🌿 Out Now
This rework is a journey born from the voices of and. It is a reimagining of their original track “Moving Through”; immersed in their a cappella version to compose an instrumentation that keeps them grounded to the earth.
The result is a psychedelic zamba that invites you to tune into nature, breathe deeply, and simply... atravesar.

I’m Aimée Ringle. I am a singer, guitarist, percussionist, song carrier, song writer, song-leader, storyteller, officiate of weddings, ceremonial musician, and Extemporaneous Sayer of Things. Threaded through all of these proclivities is my conspicuous appreciation for the work and examples of my peers and predecessors. I am most definitely part of a splendid lineage of creators in this world and to be one of this wonderful many is my dearest joy.
I sing, play, teach songs and share stories in groups because being inside the feeling of music when it’s really flowing or within groups of people who resonate with collective feeling is just about my favorite thing about life so far.
I love to write and perform my own songs because they keep surprising me with their immensity which I’m still growing in to day by day. I am grateful to have recorded several albums (Bandcamp links in bio) and this has let my music befriend so many more people than I’ve met or sung for personally. These listeners have held and integrated my songs in ways that I’ll never know and I am so grateful to them.
I am in the midst of bringing forth my third solo album and the list of songs I want to put on it is beginning to sprawl on the page. Stay tuned for that.
For the most part, I have kept my music and teaching as close to camp-fire-able as possible, because I always want to stay close to what I/we can do when the power grid fails AND I am beginning to work more with layered arranging, looping, remixing and collaborating with folks who know such things better than I do.
I’m blessed to be one of a shining trio of bards in the band along with and who are treasured musical kin to me. Our debut album came out this year and we are in cahoots about touring it. See the ubiquitous bio links for further details and updates.
Dearest thanks to for this epic photo shoot!
