It’s the word that we would all hope NOT to hear coming from the flight deck during landing. It is the word that the Captain will announce in the event that a hard landing is anticipated. This position will help minimize injury and prevent limbs from flailing.
Knowing is half the battle. Knowing what it is and how to do it will bring a recall in the time that it may be needed.
