This beautiful client was experiencing traction alopecia and also discovered that her vitamin D level was low — something worth discussing with your doctor when you’re experiencing hair loss.
For her install, we customized the unit to fit her head and used Bold Hold Liquid Gold Glueless Gel only on the sides, so we didn’t have to unnecessarily apply product throughout the areas of concern.

Hair loss is not one-size-fits-all.
Sometimes inflammation can be involved. Sometimes it’s traction. Sometimes nutritional deficiencies, hormones, thyroid issues, genetics, medications or other medical conditions can play a role.
And we cannot look at someone’s scalp through social media and tell whether their hair loss is temporary or permanent.
