Most animals too live in families which include one male character who acts as the father, some females who are the mothers and the children.
In a Lions Pride, when the male cubs come of age they are chased out of the Pride to go start their own families. When a parenting lioness dies, another lioness in the Pride will continue breastfeeding her cubs.
But that is different for Buffaloes, Wildebeests, Zebras and Antelopes. When the young males in a herd come of age they fight with their father then the winner continues leading the herd, most times the young ones win because the elders lose strength as they mate time to time. The loser is then chased away from the herd to never return. When a group of losers meet together they form a Bachelor's Herd, they only eat, sleep and wait to die.
If this was the same to humans I'm sure most fathers would prefer baby girls to boys.😂😂
