We’re incredibly proud to share that our home has been featured in Magazine, and honoured to be part of this inspiring issue.
The apartment unfolds around a sculptural centerpiece, crafted from textured antique glass framed in smoked oak, resting on a base of beautifully lacquered cabinetry, Emperador marble, and subtle brass details. More than a kitchen, it acts as the architectural heart of the home.
As you enter, you rise into the space. Behind the softly textured glass, the staircase descends to the lower level, creating a gentle play between openness and mystery. The kitchen reveals itself first—a place to gather, cook, and connect. Beyond, tucked behind a carefully designed niche, sits the living area: intimate and comfortable, offering a sense of privacy while remaining visually connected to the energy and warmth of the kitchen and bar.
The antique glass filters light and movement, creating ever-changing layers throughout the day. It allows spaces to feel distinct without ever feeling separated—a balance between retreat and togetherness.
Set within a classic Amsterdam apartment in De Pijp, the design moves away from convention. Rich materials, soft curves, and crafted details transform the home into something unexpected: a space that feels both grounded and theatrical, intimate and open.

As the renovation slowly unfolds, the house is beginning to reveal its character through a rich collection of classic patterns and natural stone each space telling its own story, deeply connected to the client’s roots and sense of home.
In the kitchen, Joop walks across a timeless checkerboard floor, a pattern that feels both grand and familiar, bringing a quiet sense of history into everyday life.
Further down the hall, an intricate woven motif made from Rosso Travertino, Rosso Levanto marble, and Carrara marble creates a layered composition that feels almost textile-like — traditional craftsmanship translated into stone.
The bathroom introduces a warmer, more expressive atmosphere, where green onyx meets caramel-toned tiles and graphic black-and-white details.
And finally, the master bathroom becomes the most emotional space of all: an extraordinary marble, filled with movement and color, turning the room into something between architecture and art.

The rich walnut tones, soft evening light, and sculptural silhouettes create a space that feels deeply calming, refined, and personal. We create interiors that balance restraint with character: timeless pieces, natural materials, and collected objects that quietly shape the atmosphere of a room.
One of our favorite details in this setting is the small landscape painting, a meaningful piece that once belonged to the owners’ grandparents, adding a beautiful sense of history and sentiment to the space. Together with the handcrafted wooden figures and vintage-inspired lighting, it creates a composition that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
We’re also incredibly excited to finally start sharing more about a project we’ve been working on behind the scenes: a curated shop featuring furniture, objects, art, and pieces we truly love living with. More coming very soon on Instagram.
