Great to see Romesh again after all these years and that we both aren’t doing too bad for ourselves albeit my profession doesn’t pay much!

Great job from who returns to bobsleigh after a near 4 year hiatus and it’s his first race with me since the Whistler World Championships in 2019 🇬🇧

Following the Beijing 2022 Olympics I’m looking to get more involved with coaching and training programming to aid the next generation of athletes reach the next level and to help the more casual/ serious gym goers to discover new ways of training to reach their fitness goals.
I’m offering monthly programmes at a 50% off rate for the first month so drop me a DM if you’re interested or have any questions.
But first, here’s a bit about how my training has impacted my sporting performance.
Prior to 2016 I had accepted that I would be a good but never a world class athlete. I changed up my training a lot and my programme was drastically different to the other athletes in my team. I tried a lot of different things but persisted and focused on the elements of my training which I deemed to be the most important to improve my strength, speed and power to allow me to perform at the best of my ability.
A while after I made these changes my performance rapidly increased. I would PB in the gym most weeks and I finished that summer of training breaking the push track record in the UK. I achieved a level of performance I didn’t believe possible by trying something different and it paid off. I’m now one of the fastest pushing athletes in the world and my programming and my attention to detail got me there.
I now would like to pass on my knowledge and experience in elite sport to you to help you achieve your goals no matter how big or small 💪🏼
We managed a 6th place finish to round off our Olympic efforts! Although it’s not the medal we wanted, I’m happy with our performance. We executed a good race with clean driving lines and some exceptional start times and that’s all we could hope for 💪🏼
I’m extremely proud of what we’ve achieved at this Olympics and this season. Everything that we’ve had to overcome these last years as a team just to get to the start line is incredible. We were just a small self funded team of a few guys with a common dream and we amassed a whole army of supporters, sponsors and fans to get us there. To all those people, you have our eternal thanks as we will never be able to truly explain our gratitude for allowing us to continue to pursue our dream after our funding was dropped. We would have never made it without you!
To my team past and present I thank you for putting your trust in me as your pilot and for helping me follow my vision of what a successful bobsleigh team and programme should look like and making that a reality. For being by my side when things weren’t going to plan and encouraged me to have faith and to keep going no matter the set back. For everything you’ve done to support myself and each other I thank you, it’s been a pleasure to work with you all. I hope you all are proud of what we have created and all we have achieved together these last years and that you enjoyed being a part of this team as much as I have.
For the future we will see what will happen but for now some rest, recovery and reflection.
