After a long break from competing Bobby made his return this weekend as we headed to Coventry for the NOGi
It was a straight final but I knew this trip would finish the year on a high, not just becoming British Champion again but reminding him exactly who he is. He’s been around the comp circuit for years shown as soon as we arrived he recognised the venue and started telling me about his memories competing here 🏆

Last Saturday me and followed Meesam to Liverpool for his matchup on Young subs after a stressful week of pullouts he finally had a game opponent from Spain who we knew was very good.
Meesam up for any challenge give away 8KG just to still have a match. His performance was brilliant getting the finish he predicted within 3 minutes.
Massive props to acting like a professional always before and after a match, one of the most humble kids I’ve ever met some would call him shy but I call him the silent assassin🥷

Overall great year for Bobby in terms of his future goal towards champion. He competed in Serbia earlier this year at the European championships dominantly winning gold🥇🇪🇺
He had his first taste of the IMMAF world championships where unfortunately he didn’t get through due to a loss, this loss meant a lot to his heart but technically there wasn’t a whole lot to work on other than learning the loophole within the ruleset and applying it ourselves. His 2025 MMA record 7-1 including 2 fights on regional promotions all wins were won by way of submission, what a way to make your jiu jitsu coach proud😁💯
As much as there’s highlights on here a lot of Bobbys highlights for me were in the gym, coming back to training, helping others, facing the adversity of a long break and getting back to showing his levels in competition, 2026 is looking stacked with plans competing on the BJJ competition circuit🌟
