Torre Marsella es un proyecto que nace y se moldea a partir de sus condiciones urbanas. Ubicado en un pequeño predio dentro de una zona de alta densidad, en la confluencia de avenidas, ejes viales y nodos de transporte, el edificio responde directamente a la complejidad de su entorno.
La geometría curva de su emplazamiento define la forma del edificio, que se plantea como un volumen contenido cuya envolvente se dosifica mediante una celosía de cartelas de concreto. Esta piel permite regular el asoleamiento, enmarcar vistas y otorgar privacidad a los espacios interiores.
Debido a la escala del proyecto, con sus diez niveles, se buscó insertarlo como una pieza urbana capaz de articular la esquina y activar distintos puntos focales. Mientras las vistas y los balcones responden a una condición urbana ligada a la ciudad, el basamento establece una relación más cercana con la escala peatonal y el contexto del barrio.
Torre Marsella es el resultado de una exploración volumétrica y material surgida de las complejidades urbanas que le dan forma y carácter.
