Imagine a future without the Department of Education—a department that ensures equal access to quality education. Former President Trump recently hinted at abolishing it, along with defunding schools that teach Black history. Kennedy Rue explains how voting is key to preserving educational equity for future generations. #SaveEducation #Vote2024 #RevoltNews

#election2024 🇺🇸
For generations, Black Americans have sacrificed their lives fighting for the right to vote. In 1920, Election Day in Ocoee, FL, led to a massacre that erased an entire Black community for decades. Voting is how we honor those lives lost. Kennedy Rue shares why one of our top reasons to vote is to protect a right paid for in blood. #RightToVote #HonorTheFight #Vote2024 #RevoltNews
With the next election approaching, the future of the Supreme Court hangs in the balance, and your vote can have a significant impact. Kennedy Rue explains why this is about more than just picking a president – it’s about shaping a Supreme Court that rules on issues affecting us all. With two conservative justices nearing 80, the president you choose could appoint their replacements, shifting the Court’s balance and the future of rulings on vital rights. Decisions like the recent reversal of Roe v. Wade show how powerful the Court’s makeup is. Casting your vote isn’t just supporting a candidate; it’s supporting the direction of the Court and our country’s future.
Keke Palmer says her two year relationship with ex Darius Jackson spiraled “out of control” after she gave birth to the couple’s son Leodis in February of 2023.

“(H)aving a baby was a big stressor,” the 31-year-old “Nope” star tells People Magazine, saying the relationship had become “unhealthy”. “The only way I knew how to bring order was through the court.”

Cracks in their relationship first became public in July of 2023 when Jackson took to social media to slam the sheer outfit Palmer wore to an Usher concert. “It’s the outfit tho... you a mom,” he fumed.

Then, last November, Palmer filed a restraining order against Jackson, claiming that he broke into her house and attempted to strangle her. He also went to court and accused her of abusing him over child custody issues.

They agreed to a joint custody agreement six months later after court-ordered mediation.

In her new memoir “Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative”, Palmer goes deep on the relationship, revealing that it was not “terrible the entire time” and that she does not want her son to grow up thinking that his dad is a monster “because I don’t.”

In fact, she tells People she and her ex are now in a good place and that she is proud of his recent decision to join the military. ““I
feel very at ease now knowing things are under control,” she says.

Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative” is due out Nov. 19.
Get ready, Houston! On Friday, October 25th, Vice President Kamala Harris is coming through with a star-studded lineup featuring the legendary Willie Nelson, DJ Tryfe, and none other than Ms. Tina Knowles, businesswoman and mother of Queen Bey herself! Nelson and Tryfe are set to light up the stage with performances, while Ms. Knowles will share some powerful words.

The big question everyone’s buzzing about: Will Beyoncé make a surprise appearance to officially endorse VP Harris for president? Especially after Queen Bey’s hit song “Freedom” was named the campaign’s official anthem.
This rally couldn’t come at a more critical time. Texas is ground zero for Trump’s harsh abortion bans. VP Harris, along with Rep. Colin Allred, will spotlight how these extreme laws are harming women’s lives and outline the push for change leading up to the election.

Stay tuned for updates on this major event!

With just 12 days to go before the election, Vice President Kamala Harris brought out the heavyweights at a rally before a crowd of 23 thousand at a high school football stadium in Clarkston, Ga. Outside of Atlanta Thursday night.

Tyler Perry, Samual L. Jackson and Bruce Springsteen all made appearances and President Barack Obama gave a rousing speech, slamming Donald Trump as a “wannabe dictator” and “wannabe king”. Then, the first Black President handed the mic over to the first Black woman Democratic nominee for President.

VP Harris wasted no time laying into Trump, blasting his plans to repeal the Affordable Care Act—and take us back to a time when insurance companies could deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions. She then led the crowd in an enthusiastic chant on her campaign mantra: “We’re not going back!”.

The Harris-Walz campaign has tapped into a cultural phenomenon, using Arlette Amuli’s popular dating series concept in a new political ad to encourage Black men to vote this November. While some critics are calling the move “desperate” and “insulting,” others are praising it as one of the most creative political campaigns ever.
But here’s the real question: Does it matter if the one you love casts their vote on November 5th?
