Momen ini bagi saya adalah jawaban Allah tentang sebuah doa, harapan dan cita2. Yang awalnya hanya menjadi tulisan semata di tembok kamar asrama CokrokusumanJogja, lalu Allah yang memberi jawabnya. Entah kenapa sy ingin sekali mengucapkan terimakasih secara langsung kepada seluruh rakyat Indonesia yang sdh menjadi washilah sy sehingga sy bisa merasakan manisnya pendidikan tinggi. Meskipun sy tdk tahu bagaimana caranya. Lha saya kuliah dan uang saku full dibiayai pajak rakyat dg beasiswa bidikmisi; lalu tinggal di asrama dengan dana dari zakat dg beasiswa etos dompetdhuafa. Paket komplit semua dari rakyat.

Singkat cerita hari itu harusnya sy presentasi paper di Jepang tapi mendadak dicancel krn ada kendala. Masih dalam suasana sedih krn gagal ke jepang, mendadak sy diminta ke Jakarta mjd salahsatu perwakilan Bidikmisi UGM. menjawab mimpi sy yang lain. Mendadak di rundown acara ada info kalau pak presiden mau datang. Mendadak perlu mahasiswa yang testimoni. Mendadak dilakukan seleksi dari beberapa yg ditunjuk. Dan Allah izinkan saya terpilih.

Semudah dan seindah itu jika Allah ingin menjawab mimpi dan doa hambaNya. Saya ya pidato2 saja, tanpa persiapan matang krn mendadak. Tapi Allah izinkan pak presiden trsentuh hatinya dan menangis shgga banyak diliput media. Akhirnya ucapan terimakasih sy sampailah ke telinga rakyat dari lapisan paling atas hingga lapisan paling bawah atas izinNya, bahkan hingga bertahun berikutnya ucapan terimakasih sy terus Allah sampaikan kepada para masyarakat untuk terus menumbuhkan Birrul2 lain di bumi pertiwi ini.
