2020, in the middle of Covid-19, artist Binelde Hyrcan packed three Moleskine notebooks into his backpack and began a long walk from Portugal to France via Spain. Through this journey, he set out to expose limitations and seek human connection during the unconventional times of the pandemic.
This moment marks a major milestone — not only in my artistic journey, but also in the broader recognition of Angolan contemporary art on the global stage.
