Insta360 Luna vs the iPhone… the results surprised me.
Both cameras were shot in regular mode in the same position and not at 1x.

4k 24fps exposure at -1.0
Settings i used on the insta360 Luna
4k 24fps shutter speed 1/50 iso 300
Now both cameras look really good and both serve a purpose.
Did you notice a difference between the cameras?
I’ll be putting to the test the dji osmo pocket 3 to the new insta360 Luna ultra. I have made it as fair as it can be using the same settings and same location to see if there’s a difference between the 2 cameras. The only clips that were messed with are the log versions and I color graded them exactly alike.
My review 🙌
Both of these cameras are a great option to buying a bigger more advanced camera setup. You don’t have to worry about lenses or worry about having to buy expensive SD cards to actually record footage. In my opinion the dji in the standard picture profile does the best with skintones. The insta360 lightens the skin tones a little too much in my opinion. The dji’s d log has always had trouble with skintones, but the insta 360 i log does an amazing job with the skintones. Both footages are easy to edit with and don’t take that much memory which is a huge plus especially if you are editing the footage on a computer. The dji pocket 3 is under 500 which is an amazing price for what you get out of the camera. The insta360 Luna ultra is under $800. If you are on a budget I would say the pocket 3 is still a powerful camera enough for the price. If you can spend a little more in my opinion this insta 360 Luna ultra is the best pocket camera out there. It has amazing quality, great features, and it’s new so with more updates the camera will only get better. Let me know what you think below. ⬇️

This is the insta360 Luna ultra and this camera might be small but it packs a punch.
The detachable screen alone makes it worth it for solo creators. This helps you get the shot and makes sure you are in frame.
The subject tracking is awesome as well. As you can see in the video I tracked it on my arm to give a cool unique shot of my doing chest flys.
The low light on this camera is amazing. It doesn’t crush the blacks or add too much noise to the footage. This was captured in the regular mode so in pure video it will do even better in low light situations. #contentcreatortips #lunaultra #insta360 #gymbro #videography

LOW EXPOSURE
When you lower the exposure it provides the footage a more moody look. This also helps you look more jacked for your gym footage.
Record in 4k
By default most iPhones have the recording set to 1080p which is not bad, but if you want your videos to stand out 4k is way to go.
TURN OFF HDR.
HDR give your videos a super over contrasted look and instagram downgrades and makes it looks super bright and low quality. Also if you add text to hdr it gives a weird gray contrast.
