Hannoun respinge ogni accusa e sostiene che il denaro fosse destinato a orfani, famiglie, scuole e strutture civili. La Cassazione aveva annullato con rinvio la prima ordinanza cautelare, chiedendo una nuova valutazione degli indizi; il 19 giugno 2026 il Tribunale del Riesame ha però confermato nuovamente la custodia in carcere. Non esiste ancora una sentenza definitiva.
Aiutare il popolo palestinese è una cosa. Finanziare Hamas è un’altra.
Chi raccoglie denaro in nome della solidarietà deve garantire trasparenza e tracciabilità assolute.

Martedì 7 luglio 2026 nel pomeriggio e hanno siglato un memorandum che ha avviato una collaborazione strutturata tra il think thank italiano e quello emiratino. Eventi, convegni, ricerche e dossier comuni su svariate tematiche saranno presto iniziative comuni. La firma è avvenuta alla presenza dell’Ambasciatore degli Emirati Arabi Uniti a Roma, S.E., di parlamentari italiani come l’On., la Sen. e altri ospiti istituzionali.
Martedì scorso sono intervenuto alla Camera dei Deputati alla conferenza “Integrazione: le implicazioni della presenza dei Fratelli Musulmani in Europa”, organizzata dal Dipartimento per l’Integrazione delle Comunità Straniere della Lega, dal e da Trends Group di Abu Dhabi.
L’evento, moderato da, ha riunito rappresentanti istituzionali e studiosi per analizzare il fenomeno dell’islamismo politico e il suo impatto sulle democrazie europee.
Insieme a Souad Sbai,,, Badriya al-Riyami, Alexandre Del Valle e, abbiamo evidenziato la necessità di combattere insieme l’islamismo, approfondendo il ruolo della Fratellanza Musulmana, le strategie di diffusione della sua ideologia anche attraverso il digitale e l’importanza della ricerca.
Come emerso nel corso della conferenza, gli #Emirati Arabi Uniti rappresentano oggi un modello di successo nella lotta contro la minaccia rappresentata dall’Islam politico, soprattutto in Europa.
Ha preso parte all’evento anche l’Ambasciatore degli Emirati Arabi Uniti a Roma, S.E..
