Yesterday marked the release of a special collaboration between, and, celebrating Amsterdam through a skate lens.
The collection takes inspiration from the city itself, with colors pulled from classic Amsterdam souvenirs and details like the iconic XXX crest worked into the outsoles. Beyond the shoes, the whole launch came with a full souvenir shop takeover next to Ben-G, stacked with custom keychains, mugs, lighters, bike bells, tees and more.
To top it off, was on site doing hand-drawn caricature portraits, adding to the proper old-school tourist shop energy.
Cold beers, a packed sidewalk in front of Ben-G and plenty of familiar faces made this one feel like a proper Amsterdam release including cheese and bitterballs. It won’t get much better..
