Last month I decided I was going to try and just do the thing - post every day and try to learn as I did it. It sounds daft but this was genuinely a bit of a leap for me (I posted to grid about 5 times total in 2025).
As I posted more and more I began to get way less perfectionist about each one, it was just a little opportunity to reach a few hundred or thousand people.
So what happened? At the end of the month Iβd reached about 90,000 total people on here, and seen a lot of names in comments that I recognised but hadnβt heard from in a long time, they were seeing my posts again.
So I jumped over to Spotify artists to see if this actually affected my listens and the numbers above blew my mind:

If youβre an artist sitting on the sidelines overthinking it like I was - it might be worth just starting. It doesnβt have to be perfect, it just has to be consistent enough to make something algorithmic happen.

We instead choose connection, we choose to carry on down this road with just enough little nudges from the universe to tell us that weβre on the right path.
