This palette is very hot girl coded. It has all kinds of pinks. It gives me that nostalgic feeling of playing with princess toys as a kid.

She really is saturated and vibrant!! I took diff types of pics, in and out of focus to show you the sparkle and the shifts and what it looks like just under lights not out of focus/sparkling. I hope it helps show you the differences in the shimmers! They’re so beautiful! The mattes are SO vibrant and bright, very BOLD- just wow, stunning pinks! Look at this dream of a pink monochromatic palette!! Where every matte is firmly pink - not coral, not mauve, not red masquerading as pink lol. And all of them are super bright and saturated, just like in Ultraviolet. This palette is for the color lovers 💞
The mattes were the usual buttery, pigmented BBB formula. The one exception was the shade Bond that leans a bit more toward a neon formula, but nothing concerning.
The shimmers are glorious too! Some of them have pretty multicolored sparkles, while others are more shifty. There is also one holochrome. Nothing felt overly oily or squishy. The only two shades that had a bit more of a textured finish are the bottom two shades, but they can be smoothed out on application.

Pinky Promise is Ultraviolet’s spicier little sister. She is what I’ve always craved from a pink palette as a POC—enough depth that we don’t have to jump to another palette or resort to black. Bold and bright and everything I wanted so badly.
I’m reclaiming my love for pink after rebelling against it for so long. 💓 I hope you love her as much as her big sister.
