Joseph Walsh presented his work to our students today, discussing the history of Joseph Walsh Studio and its deep roots in Fartha, County Cork, their ongoing projects including collaboration with other makers and the exciting future of Making In. We were treated to plenty of technical detail, and were left feeling inspired by the rigorous, iterative design and making processes applied to his art.
The Life Enrichment Model will be presented online by Associate Professor and art therapist Dr. Lisa Hinz, founder of the model and advocate for dynamic balancing as a life strategy. Lisa will be joining us from California and accompanied on-site by Pamela Whitaker a lecturer in art psychotherapy at the Belfast School of Art.

The Life Enrichment Model applies creativity to a design of life that produces. It is about being a maker within life as a studio practice and strategy of vigour. Join Lisa and Pamela as they discuss life materials, curating ecologies of care, and strategies for creative optimisation. Consider yourself the designer of life experiences, which enhance cognition, connection and activism. The Life Enrichment Model savours wide margins of experiencing and curating life activities which inspire scope and meaning.
