Over the summer we made some small changes to our garden and finally chose some garden furniture, after weeks of deliberating! We had a lucky find with this beautiful table from the Neptune outlet, and (after trying out a couple of different options first 🙈) paired it with these chunky natural wicker chairs. We’re really pleased with them, and the best thing? They don’t need to be covered or bought in, they should weather beautifully. We are notoriously bad at looking after our garden furniture, so low maintenance was key! Hoping we’ll still get a bit of use out of this set up before the winter…

Ok, so maybe it’s an Easter branch rather than a tree, but same idea! I didn’t have time to plan or set a proper Easter table this year so this is my quick alternative. A couple of branches from the garden, decorated with hanging eggs and name tags for all the family (reusing the ones I made and used at Christmas).

It’s amazing the difference three little screw in hooks have made to the kitchen. It’s the only thing we’ve done to the house in a while, so I’ve not got much else to say! We have a few other projects in the pipeline, so watch this space…!

For our 4th anniversary last year, we bought each other our bed. The traditional gift is linen, so we thought the linen headboard ticked that box…! This year it’s wood. We haven’t decided exactly what we are going to buy, but it will be something else for the house. Anniversary’s can be pretty handy when you’ve got lots of home projects on the go!

We’re hoping to get this room a bit more finished this month, with bookcases in the alcoves and some more soft furnishings. Then it’s to decide what we do next…which should really be to finish the rooms we’ve already started. No doubt we’ll start something else instead. I always have so much enthusiasm at the start of a project/room, and I love the planning of it all, but take forever to actually get it finished!
P.s I tried the fur rug in the coffee table, fully inspired by my recent trip to, and I kind of love it!
