Eigenlijk was al het eten die dag geweldig. We zijn allebei enorme foodies en het diner was werkelijk goddelijk. Iedereen heeft het nog steeds over de kaashapjes aan het begin van de avond… die wij zelf dus compleet hebben gemist 😂
Maar als er één ding is dat onze gasten zich écht herinneren, dan is het de cheesecakebar. In onze trouwkleuren, lila en lichtblauw, stonden zo’n 18 verschillende cheesecakes uitgestald. Het was echt een droom. Mensen bleven de hele avond terugkomen voor nóg een stukje.
Aan het einde van het feest waren er alleen nog wat losse punten over. Precies genoeg om samen één gigantische cheesecake van te bouwen. Die hebben we stiekem meegenomen naar onze kamer, waar we om drie uur ’s nachts nog samen cheesecake zaten te eten. Het perfecte einde van de perfecte dag.
9 jaar later denk ik nog steeds met zoveel liefde terug aan Florence. Aan onze bruiloft, het fantastische eten, die belachelijk goede cheesecakes en alle mooie momenten. Wat hebben we genoten en wat ben ik blij dat ik al die herinneringen met jou mag maken ❤️ I love you!
