For my second event for my run community I wanted to bring girls together and focus on the fuelling side of being a female athlete and how very important this is.
Partnering with the team at was the perfect pairing. In 2026 we are emphasising that it’s amazing to have these crazy goals and big ambitions but only if we look after our bodies and give them the love and respect they need - and fuelling properly is a huge huge part of this.
We all know how much I personally LOVE a good bagel, it’s almost a right of passage as a marathoner at this stage, so to bring a group of girls together and kick start the year building good habits around training and fuelling was the perfect way to go about entering 2026.
BBagel’s current January campaign of London Runs On Bagels is spot on, while we are bombarded with lots of social media noise in January encouraging us to live life on less, this messaging is there to show that actually you can’t out train an empty tank, you need to give yourself body the energy to thrive. Bagels are the perfect fuel for runners - high carb, high protein, all round good energy - which is exactly what we need to go after the mega 2026 goals and feel fab while doing so.
This was also my first event as a girl, wearing the chalk pink air move shorts, and tru blue air move jacket.
