just soft opened on May 20th, 2026 and they're located in Mountain View! So many new matcha spots popping up in the Bay Area, but this one actually stands out for strong matcha, not too sweet and fun gelato flavors such as Fragrant Milk Rice + Matcha Jasmine 🍵🍨💚
My favorite was their Milky Mochi Matcha latte because the drinkable mochi topping was so addictive. Also these drinks surprisingly left me wired all day 😆 Def worth adding to your matcha list for your next adventure 👀

Genshin Impact fans, this one was for you if you missed out ✨
Event was held at Japan Center East Malls on Saturday May 30, 2026 from 10am to 6pm, and featured Genshin voice actors like Mick Wingert, Patrick Pedraza, Emi Lo, and Deneen Melody.
General admission was only $5. People were lining up way before noon for a chance to meet and greet and obtain autographs from the voice actors. There was also a merch table selling Genshin posters and prints ❤️

1️⃣ Maruwu Seicha 📍 San Francisco
I visit this spot once or twice a month, and I feel like I fall more in love with it every time! I love how they add a touch of honey to their matcha soft serve, creating the perfect balance of sweetness and strong matcha flavor. What amazed me is that they only use two fresh ingredients: ceremonial matcha from Kyoto, Japan, and fresh milk to deliver the purest and most authentic taste! 🍵✨
2️⃣ Kiss of Matcha 📍 San Francisco
If you love rich, bitter matcha that isn’t overly sweet, this place is a must-visit! What first caught my attention was the vibrant dark green color of their matcha soft serve. The creaminess reminds me of Maruwu Seicha, and the portions are generous, which is always a plus. They also serve their soft serve in a bamboo cup, making it super cute and totally Instagram-worthy! 🌱🍦
3️⃣ Mind Coffee📍 Berkeley
I came here with my matcha buddies, and! If you’re looking for matcha einspanners like the ones in LA, you need to try this place. Their drinks are also super creamy, from the generous airy whipped cream portion they give. I highly recommend adding an extra matcha shot to enhance the flavor! ☁️💚
4️⃣ Matcha Cafe Maiko 📍 San Francisco
I come here once or twice a month to try their rotating monthly flavors, but matcha always ends up being my favorite here hehe. They generously dust matcha powder on top, and their soft serve is consistently delicious. I’m often at Stonestown Mall in SF, so this place is such a convenient pick-me-up. They also offer a mix of vanilla and matcha soft serve for those who prefer a lighter flavor. 🍦🍵
