Bir Doğaçlama Caz Ustalık Sınıfı (Masterclass) olarak tasarlanan programın bu yılki eğitmenleri arasında Baki Duyarlar, Barış Doğukan Yazıcı, Ediz Hafızoğlu, Erdal Akyol, Sibel Köse, Şevket Akıncı ve Yeşim Pekiner’in yanı sıra Berklee College of Music’ten Üflemeliler ve Ensemble Bölümü’nden Yardımcı Doçent Phil Grenadier ile Piyano Bölüm Başkanı Dave Liminia da yer alıyor.
Eğitmenlerin performans değerlendirmesi sonucunda iki katılımcısına 2027 yılında gerçekleşecek Berklee Jazz Clinics Umbria programına katılım hakkı sağlarken, bir katılımcısına da 37. Akbank Caz Festivali sahnesinde yer alma imkanı tanıyan JAmZZ Masterclass programı 16 ve 17 Mayıs tarihlerinde BAU Pera Sahne’de gerçekleşecek.

Presented as part of the 36th Akbank Jazz Festival, the JAmZZ Masterclass—developed in collaboration with BAU Conservatory and Berklee College of Music - begins, creating space for emerging talent while supporting the next generation of musicians.
Framed as an improvisation-driven jazz masterclass, this year’s edition convenes a remarkable lineup of artists: Ediz Hafızoğlu, Erdal Akyol, Sibel Köse, Şevket Akıncı, and Yeşim Pekiner, alongside Berklee’s Assistant Professor Phil Grenadier (Woodwinds & Ensemble) and Piano Chair Dave Limina.
Selected through faculty performance evaluations, two participants will receive the opportunity to attend the Berklee Jazz Clinics Umbria in 2027, while one will take the stage at the 37th Akbank Jazz Festival. The JAmZZ Masterclass will be held on May 16–17 at BAU Pera Stage.
