I have been trying to get to her for years and we finally made it happen! It’s so hard to find delicious Cajun food, but she does it right.
She has a small menu but she has all the classic items.
We tried the Jambalaya (super filling), Crawfish Etouffee and the Cajun Seafood Gumbo. They were all super flavorful and we enjoyed the Jambalaya and Crawfish étouffée the best. The seafood gumbo is very seafood forward but she also offers a Chicken & Andouille sausage gumbo.
The Beignets though!! The best ones I’ve had so far. They are different, super crunchy! I am a big crunchy person so I immediately fell in love. It’s sweet from the powdered sugar but not super heavy or greasy. Her sauces went really well with them too. I can’t tell you which one I liked better because I went from tangy to creamy and back to tangy.
I can’t stop thinking about them.
She didn’t have Red Beans & Rice which is something I crave so we’ll definitely have to find her again to try it!
