Es war mir eine echte Herzensangelegenheit, die wertvolle Arbeit des NABU zu unterstützen – insbesondere das Projekt „Mein Biotop“. Dabei erhielt ich spannende Einblicke in den Lebensraum der Natternkopf-Mauerbiene, einer seltenen Wildbienenart, die in der Region lange Zeit als ausgestorben galt.
Die Natternkopf-Mauerbiene ist eng an ihre Futterpflanze, den Gewöhnlichen Natternkopf, gebunden. Ihren Pollen sammelt sie nahezu ausschließlich an dieser Pflanze und ist deshalb vor allem von Juni bis August zu beobachten. Umso wichtiger ist der Erhalt und die Förderung ihrer Lebensräume – damit diese faszinierende Art auch in Zukunft in Leipzig eine Heimat findet.
Mein herzlicher Dank gilt allen, die mit ihrer Spende dazu beigetragen haben. Gemeinsam können wir viel für den Natur- und Artenschutz bewegen.
