Knicks fans deserve this moment. They waited a long ass time. MSG will be absolutely electric for Game 3 of the Finals.

- Knicks matchup just fine with either the Thunder or the Spurs 🤷🏽‍♂️ Not buying into the sweep narratives. They can play at any pace and have the defensive makeup to slow down the other stars.

- Jalen Brunson is the living proof of heart over height in basketball. In a day and age where 6'2 and under players are being shunned in the league, here is this guy leading the NBA's most popular franchise to the promise land. Kind of poetic. Pure hooper.

- Cavs 100% had the talent to matchup with the Knicks, but lacked the heart and gamesmanship. That G1 collapse broke them and you could visibly see it on their faces ever since. The championship level teams can bounce back from that.
Thunder Achilles heel is that they don't really have proven high pressure game "creators" outside of Shai and healthy J-Dub. So when these C&S three's ain't falling on the road and SGA is being hounded it gets hard to score 👉🏽 These injuries are going to make it tough for the Thunder to win this series. Not enough shot creation outside of Shai that can keep the Spurs defense in guess mode. They know most of OKC points are coming from three.

Spurs turned defense into offense from start to finish and Wemby got loose again. I think the winner of game 5 will win this series.
The next time basketball will be played at MSG will most likely be in Game 3 of the NBA Finals 🤯 Pretty crazy to think about. That fan base is probably the hungriest in the league for a title.

- When everyone touches the ball on offense and is engaged...it will almost always lead to better team effort on the defensive end. Mike Brown's system got the Knicks playing a more inspired brand of hoops on both ends, but it started with opening up the offense.

- They haven't lost a game since the CJ McCollum show in round one. How do they matchup with the Spurs or OKC? We'll talk about that soon.
Kyrie Irving's performance in this stretch is the highest level I've seen a point guard reach in NBA Finals history 🤷🏽‍♂️ I don't care about stats or awards. From an eye test and ability stand point, the skill you are seeing displayed in this clip against the defensive pressure he was facing is the peak level of the sport. The fact that the back to back MVP and an all-time GOAT at the PG position is on the floor here (Steph) and Kyrie was able to win that matchup will forever speak volumes. The foot-work, dexterity, counters, awareness, quickness, focus and aggression on display is insane. This is a rare window in a hoopers career where their youthful energy meets peak athleticism, movement and skill all at once. As years go on and the body takes a beating one of these attributes is always getting over compensated for by another.

Cavs likely win the 2015 Finals if he doesn't go down. Look at Klay shaking his head in disbelief from the 2016 clip. That last joint from 2017 is just video game stuff. He was going 1 on 5 and making it look normal. He was also playing chippy on ball defense on Steph all series. A true purist in the sport.
Thunder have made the adjustment on Wemby and slowed him down. Williams can body him, Chet roams in the back. Spurs offense took a big hit 👉🏽 Thunder too much of a machine. SGA is so composed under pressure. Their depth won them that game. Jared McCain pickup was daylight robbery. Spurs have to counter next game.
6'1 guard has New York basketball on his back. Knicks are two wins away from their first NBA Finals since 1999 👊🏽 Mike Brown's system has this Knicks team cooking. Everyone is engaged offensively, the ball swings end to end and they can play at any pace. This all translates to the defensive end too.

- You need guys like Josh Hart to win championships. They do the dirty work and give your team a burst of energy that is contagious.

- Jalen's precision is on another level right now. If he gets the air space it's most likely a bucket. Really like his flow and leadership right now.

- Cavs body language says it all. They should have been up 1-0 coming into this game. Have to dig deep to fight back against a team that is firing on all cylinders. Up 22 points with 7 mins to go in G1.
Hartenstein adjustment was good. You just can't let Wemby walk his way to 40. He forced Wemby to settle. Shai loosened up and got back in his rhythm as a shot maker. Spurs need Fox at full strength. Castle is too green to run the show in these games.
It's 8/24 so this post has to be made, but this message will continue to live on here ☝🏽 Kobe Bean Bryant is the most advanced basketball player to ever live. This is not about numbers, accolades, narratives or aura (all the greats had that) this is about skill/ability/mentality on the 94 feet which can only be measured via the eye test, if you were a fan in real time witnessing it, if you played basketball or if you went back and studied the footage to a tee. We are speaking on intricate details and skill-set that was achieved through a gift from God and paired with a relentless work ethic, drive and obsession for the game in an era which presented a very high degree of difficulty for the games top performers.

We may not ever see this again. He was a product of a gritty and alpha dog era of culture in North America and he trained/studied the game into his mid 30's like he hadn't been paid for it yet. The hunger and skill was different. Listen to Will Barton's description at the end.
Payton Pritchard drops a Ball Don't Stop Pro-Am record of 68 points in Victoria, BC 😤 The skill level, shot making, handle, motor, quickness, strength and body control was on full display. Real hooper. He set Canada on fire again. #Different
Shaedon Sharpe dropped 46 points at the BDS Pro-Am tonight in Toronto 😤 He has graceful athleticism and skill. Blazers got a star in the making. Everything he does on the court looks effortless.
