This morning I saw a video of someone challenging themselves to be creative each day for the amount of screen time doom scrolling they did yesterday. I love this idea but I’m going to make it more general offline activities. I think that helps our resolution of finding time to do things. At Bacon’s annual vet visit today, the part that made me emotional wasn’t the bill, it was seeing “Senior Wellness” written there. My puppy is suddenly a senior, and that realization hits just a little harder than I expected. Still, I’ll do whatever it takes to take care of him, to catch things early, and to honor every moment we get together.
There’s going to be some things we’ll probably have to take care of in 2026, like hopefully removing some fatty lumps before they become a problem. But for 8, he’s still my healthy food crazy guy (who needs to lose a few lbs).
