Five years of attempting to level up the pond skim. From the cobblestone streets of Rome to the Yellow Brick Road, it takes a terrifying amount of trust to straight-line into a frozen pond strapped to the same set of skis, but there’s no one I’d rather attempt it with than these two legends.
We’ve managed to experience every level of success over the years: Getting out on the very first go, ejecting off the jump, slamming backwards, winning best costume, even winning the whole event. The best part about pond skim is you never really know how it’s going to go. No matter how many times you do it, it still manages to give you those jitters and butterflies before you drop in.
So here’s our time capsule of the last 5 years:
2022: Pond.. James Pond, Cowboy & Fritz, Construction worker 🕴🏻🤠👷🏻♂️
2023: Mariachi Band complete with strings, trumpet, and maracas 🎺🎸🪇
