E forse anche per questo mi hai ricordato che non sappiamo mai davvero cosa stanno attraversando gli altri. Guardiamo le loro vite da fuori e ci sembrano più semplici, più belle, più leggere. Ma ognuno porta con sé le sue battaglie, le sue stanchezze, le sue paure.
In mezzo a tutto questo, maggio, mi hai ricordato la mia forza. Quella che sta nei gesti piccoli, nei tentativi quotidiani, nel continuare a cercare qualcosa che possa farmi stare meglio e aiutarmi a costruire una vita che mi somigli di più.
Anche quando sono stanca, continuo a cercare una strada. Magari piano, magari con paura, magari senza sapere bene dove mi porterà. Però ci provo. Sempre.
Mi hai insegnato anche a guardare con più attenzione quello che ho. A non vivere sempre con gli occhi puntati su ciò che manca, su ciò che non è ancora arrivato, su quella prossima cosa che dovrebbe finalmente farmi sentire completa.
Non voglio che il bisogno d’altro mi renda cieca davanti alla bellezza che è già qui.
Ciao maggio. Un po’ mi hai fatto male, ma mi hai anche insegnato qualcosa.
Che crescere è imparare a scegliersi. Con gratitudine, con coraggio, con amore.

Delle Mura di Città Alta. Dei vicoli, degli scorci improvvisi, di quella bellezza discreta che Bergamo non ti urla addosso, ma ti lascia intravedere piano.
Oggi cammino per Bergamo e mi sembra di tornare in un posto che conosco da sempre, ma che avevo smesso di guardare davvero.
É proprio questo che fa casa, no? Resta lì, ma cambia insieme al modo in cui impari a starci dentro.
Forse non dovevo fuggire per ritrovarmi. Forse dovevo solo allontanarmi abbastanza da capire che casa non era il posto da cui scappare, ma quello in cui imparare a restare.
Bergamo, oggi ti vedo. E in qualche modo, vedendo te, vedo un po’ meglio anche me.
E allora sì, oggi è anche la nostra festa.
