One year ago and I were asked to produce a one of a kind experiential dinner for the launch of ’s Safron Secret - a scent I get a lot of compliments on! I’m always behind on posting, but wanted to share some BTS alongside the event photos snapped by

When I started, I deliberately emphasized the use of our senses when it comes to experiences. So every detail from taste to hearing was accounted for by and I. And that included changing out the lighting at because I wanted guests to feels as if they were engulfed in a foggy amber field. And that also meant creating reflective surfaces - which I did by antiquing 40 mirrors as placemats for this event photos. Also, I was in Dubai and sourced the tableware and fabrics and so much more from there and shipped it to Oman which then made its way to London… listen - we don’t play.

Will touch upon more details of this event on - Thank you for trusting our vision!
and for for being just as dedicated (crazy) as I am when it comes to making our ideas work. Dynamic Duo at your service 👯‍♀️♥️ and for always being dragged into work she never asked to be a part of and being my stylist 🥰

Ps. Last pic is more accurate of what event crunch time feels like. And my uber rating has taken a dip from lugging 500099 bags around oopsies thanks uber uncles
Let me hop on this #2016 trend cause there were some significant things that year like:

- finding an amazing apartment in Austin with my sister on Craigslist and loved making it a home
- adopting my angel cat Mantu. He passed away two years ago and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it
- spending a lot of time outdoors climbing, hiking, cycling, at music festivals and just hanging out with friends
- traveled to LA, Portland, Seattle, Colorado, Arkansas
- working both in architecture and construction and being exhausted but learning a lot
- met who was one of my favorites
- was obsessed with this braid hairstyle
- pierced my nose on my 24th birthday
- first time voting. And then Trump won …. Can’t believe it got worse.
- dyed my hair blue cause what else was I to do
A look back on 2025 work - it was a challenging year in many ways, but that’s growth 🌱

Thank you to everyone that was a part of it! Looking forward to more and (👀) this year iA!
15 things I recommend from December on my Substack 🙂‍↔️
On the last day of 2025, I was pretty adamant on getting in a riding lesson - I felt on edge and wanted some nature, movement and horses to realign.

2025 felt like being awake during a lobotomy, so I wasn’t keen to reflect back on it as yet (plus Ramadan is my “New Year”). In my procrastination scrolling I saw a post about 2026 being the #yearofthehorse, so naturally, I dove into this ChatGPT written carousel with a million likes. Then I learned that 2025 was the year of the snake. Even though I’m not really into horoscopes and calendars, I do love when things align and this felt, as all intellectual girlys say - like a sign.

I entered the new year with hesitation and wanting to retreat quietly and far away. But that silly little post about the horse and the snake gave me some of the courage to pop my head out and tell myself that whatever difficulties come this year, I’m equipped to face them head on, and I’m never alone.

Happy 2026!

Who gets to be comfortable? And why?

As part of the ‘Routes & Roots’ Residency with in Doha, this last week we’ve been unpacking the politics and ergonomics of (s)eating — how the chair was exported as civilization, what floor dining traditions encode about equality and intimacy, and how we might design seating systems that recover what got displaced when our day to day shifted body choreography.

If you’re a woman, you’ve most likely heard one of these before. While I know most people who say these types of things mean well, it’s really not fun hearing it over and over until this topic becomes the focal point of every conversation. Also, yes, I am flexing my languages, but that just means I get to hear these things in multiple languages 😻

Marriage is cool. Single life is cool.
Eating cake and setting up a pretty tablescape is cooler 🥀

Tablescape details:
I didn’t buy anything, these were items we have from mine and my mom’s sourcing skills. Antiques, cultural heirlooms, my grandmothers dried roses and looking at things in a new manner (ie. Using a goblet as a stand).
Flowers and candles are from Target.
Fruits were color coordinated for the scene: Cherries, apples, strawberries, grapes

Outfit details:

Dress:
Belt: vintage
Shoes:
Lipstick:
Accessories: a mix of thrift, decades old jewelry and my high school tights collection

Filmed, written, edited, produced, sourced, styled, cooked, directed: me 🫠 I need a team.
