本講座では、阿波藍で染めた阿波和紙の雲柄紙を使い、小万月（しょうまんげつ）という形のうちわを作っていただきます。
雲柄紙は、文字通り雲がたなびくような自然な動きのある模様が特徴的な和紙で、光に透かすと雲の形のような模様がより浮かび上がります。
日本一のうちわの産地である香川県丸亀市と、阿波藍の産地、徳島の手仕事を合わせてつくる、見た目も涼しい「藍染め竹うちわ」で扇ぎながら、徳島の伝統芸能「阿波人形浄瑠璃」をご鑑賞いただきたいと思います。

ー城北座最後の舞台ー
今年で70年続く城北高校民芸部。
民芸部１期〜8期のOBたちで阿波人形浄瑠璃の活動を続けた「城北座（じょうほくざ）」が
6月25日の阿波十郎兵衛屋敷での定期公演をもって、45年の活動に幕をおろしました。

18年前に城北座さんと出会った頃、
「私たちは〝城北座〟を後世に引き継ぐっていう気はなくて、今のこの仲間で、できるところまでするつもりなんよ。」とお話ししたことがあり、〝ああ。とうとう最後の日が来たんだな・・・〟と感慨深くなりました。
〝最後まで木偶の美しい所作を見せたい〟と座員さん同士で打ち合わせを重ねた
11:00と14:00の公演には
一般の来場者の方含め、
座員さんたちのご友人にご家族、
そして何十年と交流のあった阿波人形浄瑠璃関係者が最後の舞台を見届けました。
上演後の舞台あいさつでは、
汗だくで熱演した姿、そして達成感に満ちたような笑顔をされていました。
会場の皆様からはこれまでの労いの言葉や、
城北座とともに活動を続けたお弓とおつるの木偶にお花のプレゼントが渡されたりと
これまでの感謝の気持ちが伝わってきました。
城北座のみなさま、長年阿波人形浄瑠璃を支えてくださりありがとうございました。

《第21回徳島浄瑠璃の会全国競演大会》の２日目。
この日は大人だけでなく
小学生1名、中学生2名、高校生1名の太夫、太棹三味線奏者も出演し、
9:40〜17:50まで13組による素浄瑠璃をお聞きいただきました。
本大会のめくりは
28日に出演した西山航生さん（中学3年生／淡路）が書いてくれました。
子どもから大人まで、
そして今年から学び始めた方から40年近くキャリアを持つベテランの方まで
語り音楽「浄瑠璃」を愛する太夫さん、三味線さんたちによる
様々な外題の熱演をお楽しみいただきました。

子どもから大人までどなたでも 初心者歓迎！
阿波人形浄瑠璃は、太夫、三味線、人形の三業で力を合わせて創り上げる総合芸術です。
太夫の語りを支え、リードする三味線は、登場人物の心情や雨や雪が降る様子など情景も音色で表現します。長年かけて磨き上げられてきた日本の語り音楽「義太夫節」の三味線をこの機会に体験してみませんか。会場は、阿波人形浄瑠璃の定番「傾城阿波の鳴門」ゆかりの阿波十郎兵衛屋敷です。お気軽にご参加ください。

阿波人形浄瑠璃と阿波藍
〜大阪・関西万博のレガシー〜
長年にわたり受け継がれてきた伝統的なものの中にこそ、その地域ならではの感性が宿っています。その感性は、ものづくりやまちづくり、経済活動にも活かされる地域の資産です。
２０２５年１０月に閉幕した大阪・関西万博。徳島県は、関西パビリオン「徳島県ゾーン」に、藍染めを基調とし、空間全体を徳島の伝統工芸作品として構成した展示を行いました。農村舞台の襖絵をモチーフにした藍染めの龍や人形洋、人形尚の伝統的な阿波木偶、３Dプリンターによる木偶制作の可能性を探る展示など、伝統に根ざした未来の文化のあり方を考える機会を提供しました。このレガシーを継承していくため、阿波十郎兵衛屋敷において、万博の展示を再構成した展覧会を開催いたします。

第21回徳島浄瑠璃の会全国競演大会
太棹三味線の伴奏で、物語の登場人物の台詞や仕草、感情、情景などすべてを表現する語り音楽「浄瑠璃」。楽譜のない浄瑠璃は、西洋音楽の影響を受けていない音曲といわれ、日本人の感性に寄り添う音楽です。浄瑠璃の中でも「義太夫節」は、江戸時代に人形芝居と融合し「人形浄瑠璃」として人気を博しました。
第20回を迎える本大会では、徳島、大阪、兵庫から集まった義太夫節を愛好する中学生から30年以上のキャリアをもつ太夫、太棹三味線奏者が出演し、素浄瑠璃（人形がつかない音楽形式の公演）で披露します。
日々鍛錬を積み上げてきた太夫、三味線奏者たちによる多彩な浄瑠璃の外題の数々をじっくりとお聴きください。
※阿波人形浄瑠璃定期公演は11:00、14:00の2回上演します。

毎年7月に開催しております阿波人形浄瑠璃公演、今年もあります。
県内の人形座・太夫部屋による古典作品（仮名手本忠臣蔵 祇園一力茶屋の段など）及び二代目鶴澤友路襲名披露公演（絵本太功記 尼ヶ崎の段）を上演いたします。
さらに、昨年の公演で上演しました大駱駝艦 田村一行による舞踏公演『舞踏風土記 阿波木偶さま』の再演も決定いたしました！
