Chloe and Drewβs story is so sweet. I adore the small town setting and the additional characters that bring so much to the table. Especially the cat lol. This story has tons of feels and brings to lights a lot about anxiety and ptsd. I love the hero aspect and the banter because the crazy cat lady and the dad joke guy switch places! Chloe is coming at you with dad jokes and Drew is affectionately known as Cat Man. Super fun read. I also listened to the audiobook and the dual narration was on point! So you canβt go wrong either way!
I went back through some old photos, curious to see how long Errek & Iβve had the magic of Peelander Planet in our lives. The answer is twenty one years!
Errek and I met in August 2005 and fell in love with Peelander in September 2005. It was the most batshit amazing show ever. It was at Elysium, and the opening act was an actual wrestling match in a massive wrestling ring in the middle of the Elysium dance floor. It was absurd and amazing!
Since then, we just always go to Peelander shows whenever and wherever they happened. Including a show on a freakinβ boat in the middle of the East River on the first night of our trip to New York City in 2012. Pure joy and amazingness!

Next up will be a bat to celebrate the release of my Hearts of Texas series on audio. I didn't give any of those characters my birthday, so I'm going to name this one after a real person who shares my birthday. I'm leaning toward Nancy Kerrigan.
