During the visit, Ms. Hilana Jawhary and Mr. Deeb Haber delivered an engaging and informative lecture on genetically modified organisms, highlighting their current status in Lebanon and the implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.
The session offered students valuable insights into biotechnology, biosafety regulations, and the national framework governing GMOs in Lebanon. It also provided an excellent opportunity for academic exchange and meaningful discussion.
