A student organization that builds belonging. A peer who shows up for someone having a hard week. A first-year student finding their voice, and a graduating student leaving the community better than they found it.
Every spring, the Student Leadership Office and the Physical Activities and Self-Care Office come together to recognize the students and organizations who embodied that spirit throughout the year. Last week, we celebrated the 2025-2026 class of honorees.

This past March, AUP faculty, researchers, and change-makers took to the stage for Science Speaks AUP, a day of talks on environmental research spanning climate justice, marine biodiversity, drinking water, and conservation. The goal was always for these conversations to travel further than the room.
Today, they do. We are proud to announce the launch of Green Frequency, a new podcast bringing AUP voices to listeners worldwide. 🎙️
The series is produced by alumnus Clark Marchese '22 and his studio. Clark founded Pine Forest Media to move environmental science out of the niche and into the public conversation. As he puts it: "Our most common ground is the one we're all standing on."
New episodes weekly on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer, and all major platforms, with companion videos on YouTube. Learn more and tune in via the link in our bio.

📷 Photographer Marvin Bonheur brings his exhibition La Trilogie du Bonheur to the Combes/Quai Gallery through April 30. His work pushes back against the stigmatized image of the banlieue—the neighborhoods just beyond the Paris city limits—centering the people, spaces, and everyday beauty of Seine-Saint-Denis in all their complexity.
💥 Running alongside it, Hors-Cadre: BDs des Banlieues, AUP's Bande Dessinée Festival, explores the same territory through French comics and graphic novels, tracing how the suburbs have been imagined, caricatured, and reclaimed through the art form. On view through April 26 at the.
Two mediums. One conversation. Come see both!
