Francisco fa anys que treballa des d’una arquitectura profundament connectada amb el territori. A Amarar, aquesta mirada es tradueix en acció: un model de circularitat aplicat a la fusta local de Mallorca que va molt més enllà de l’objecte final.
Amarar gestiona el bosc, transforma la matèria primera en proximitat, dissenya peces pensades per durar i planteja sistemes que permeten reparar, reutilitzar i mantenir el material dins el cicle. No és només producció, és cultura material. És entendre que cada taula té un origen i que també hauria de tenir un futur.
Ens en vàrem anar amb una certesa senzilla però potent: quan el territori, el disseny i la responsabilitat s’asseuen a la mateixa taula, el resultat no és només sostenible. És coherent.

Yesterday we visited Francisco Cifuentes, architect at, at the possessió of Son Puigdorfila Vell. There, among centuries old walls and living wood, he opened the doors of the Amarar showroom, a project that participates and collaborates with Regenera Deià.
Francisco has been working for years from an architectural approach deeply connected to the territory. In Amarar, that vision translates into action: a circular model applied to local Mallorcan wood that goes far beyond the final object.
Amarar manages forests, transforms raw materials locally, designs pieces meant to last, and develops systems that allow materials to be repaired, reused, and kept within the cycle. It is not just production, it is material culture. It is understanding that every plank has an origin and should also have a future.
We left with a simple yet powerful certainty: when territory, design, and responsibility sit at the same table, the result is not only sustainable. It is coherent.
