A very special illustration to me as it was the 1st one I was able to paint after my mum passed away few years ago.
I wanted to paint grief without too much drama, just a quiet scene and her peaceful presence in the atmosphere!
The tree was inspired by the ancient ones in game of thrones, the pink/red color was really stronger than expected but I like it anyway!
