Sarah said, “the overall vibe is love,” and I paused for a moment to sit with that word. What is love, really? Is it a universal feeling, something we learn about from an early age, told what it should look like, something poets and writers have spent lifetimes trying to define? We spend so much of our lives searching for it, longing for it, constantly asking ourselves, is this it, is this love, am I choosing right?
For so long, I thought love was something to find in someone else, something to give away or receive. I forgot that it begins within, that I have to be love first before I can truly share it with someone else.
When I look at S&S, I feel that exact kind of love. They are love in themselves and they choose to give it to each other. And maybe that is what love really is, something already whole within you that does not diminish when it is shared. A love that is not consumable, that does not run out or reach the bottom.
