‘La palabra “atzur” tiene su origen en el persa lāzaward (lajward), que significaba “lapislázuli” y “azul”. Llegó al catalán (en donde se usa atzur) y al español (azur) a través del árabe lāzūrd y, muy probablemente, vía el italiano azzurro. El lapislázuli, una piedra semipreciosa de un intenso color azul, es el nexo etimológico que conecta estas lenguas.’
‘Atzurada’ pues, vendría a significar ‘azulada’. 💙
Enraizar todos mis ancestros en este nombre significa mucho para mí. Preservar mi identidad y cultura minoritaria catalana, mis raíces murcianas españolas y, muy probablemente, mis raíces árabes.
Reivindicar nuestras tradiciones y a la vez entender que todas venimos de todos lados y que el origen es el mismo. Ya lo decía Pemi Fortuny de Lax’n’busto en ‘La meva terra es el mar’ (mi tierra es el mar):

doncs penso que hi ha massa coses
que ens separen i tots som del mateix món,

Llegada de Francia me puse a trabajar en lo que sería mi nuevo stand, mi nuevo hogar compartido con vosotras. En ese proceso de ebullición creativa surgió el logo de Atzurada. Diria ‘nuevo’ logo pero realmente todavía no me había puesto a crear un sello de indentidad.
Surgió sin mucho intención ni pensamiento, como casi todo lo que hago, que el proceso creativo fluya.
Y, curiosamente, cree un útero. Así que, sin quererlo mucho, Atzurada contiene todo lo que soy: mi identidad, mis raíces y mi fuente de creación.
