The women’s Jiu-Jitsu competitive scene kept seeing the same name at the top throughout an entire season, from the 2025 Worlds to this year’s Brazilian Nationals. Australia’s India Risby, now representing Atos in San Diego, United States, has risen to an extraordinary level in the sport’s biggest competitions, with an efficiency that goes beyond the ordinary. Within the IBJJF Grand Slam, it wasn’t just at one tournament that India claimed double gold. She repeated the feat flawlessly, capturing double gold on three consecutive occasions throughout the entire season.

Long before ATOS became what it is today, I was helping lead the team alongside Professor
Then later, side by side with &, building something we truly believed could impact the world through Jiu-Jitsu.
And we did it with excellence.
In 2017, while I was still competing myself, our team won the IBJJF Adult Male World Team Title.
In 2018, we did it again.
That same year (2017), after winning my last world title - I stepped away from competing at Worlds.
Not because I lost the passion to fight…but because I found an even bigger purpose:
Building champions.
On the mats.
Off the mats.
For life.
I truly believe very few people in history were able to compete at the highest level while simultaneously building world champions around them year after year.
That has always been our mission.
More than medals, what matters to me is the impact we leave in people’s lives.
Helping someone believe in themselves.
Helping athletes become leaders.
Helping young people find discipline, confidence, direction and purpose through Jiu-Jitsu.
Our focus has never been only on building champions for competition.
Our focus has always been building strong human beings through Jiu-Jitsu.
And that mission continues every single day.
