I have been asked by countless people why i am not active here anymore? Why have i not posted since 5 months? But the question really is, how can I? How do I post here to show that I am blessed enough to live my normal life while thousands are at this point in time suffering? How does one get back to normal posting? The guilt is so strong even though I'm miles away and don't know anyone personally from there yet I mentally can not go back to the usual updates about my life. Morally it just does not feel right to me.
On the other hand I understand those who do, there is no judgment there but I honestly want to know how to get back to normal HERE? I am not saying that I haven't been going about my normal life, I am but I don't know how to share that.
On this blessed day of Friday I pray for a ceasefire, for peace in the region and for people to realise that this world is a temporary abode and we all have to return to our God one day. We are answerable for our actions. What face will we show infront of our Creator? How will we answer to Him about the killing of innocent lifes? Is there an end to this?

I have probably never cried as much as I have in the last few days seeing the videos and photos coming out of Gaza. The destruction, the death and the pain is just so much to bear that I can't even begin to imagine what the Palestinians are going through and have gone through ๐

The next day which was day 8 we took a glass bottom boat for snorkeling to the three Gilli Islands and had lunch at Gilli T. Pictures and videos can't do justice to the views โค๏ธ it was just breathtaking ๐
We booked our tours from and I will highly recommend their services. We didn't have to worry about a single thing! They took care of us from the hotel pick up in Kuta to ferry travel to booking all tours. Our tour guide, Julian was superb who I really sympathsized with considering he used to drive 2 hours from his place to pick us up everyday for tours since our hotel was literally on the other corner of the Island.
If you plan on not leaving the hotel or just doing that side of the island then is great otherwise would suggest getting one in Senggigi area which is closer to all the spots and port. We spent more time travelling to and fro from hotel than the actual tour itself ๐ // Sept 2023 // Vacay diaries //

So on the last day in Ubud, we just enjoyed at the pool and then took the shuttle service to Ubud center to see the area around and to shop.
There was this entire street next to the Ubud Art Market where you could get wooden cutlery and decor, souvenirs, massage parlours and food. One thing to remember, BARGAIN like there is no tomorrow ๐ I wish I had gotten bigger suitcases cause man were there some amazing stuff or what! Wish I had taken some pictures of the things that were being sold over there to give an idea but oh well, next time ๐ // Sept 2023 // Vacay diaries //
