This summer definitely did not go as planned. With plans of expanding a new part of the business and touring our home province, slowly came to a pause.
July going into August we experienced yet another pregnancy loss. This lost, in particular, lasted weeks. Multiple painful complications. This loss hit different. Like I was absent from my own mind. I took my own grieve and shoved it to the side to try a take on the problems and sufferings of others (because I thought they take priority). Being an empath, I feel EVERYTHING so deeply and fiercely (it is a burden and a gift at the same time). Dealing with other things going on in my personal life. Hearing and seeing things going on all across the world and not knowing how to cope, feel or help. Until everything hit me all at once and I went numb.
Until one of my very kind and amazing friends, sat me down and said, “you can’t help, be present or even find peace, if your own battery is drained. Mend what’s broken, then find the strength and courage to take one step forward”. I’m learning to find balance in the darkness and light. Prioritize mental health, focus on the people that bring light to our lives and then help where we can.
Space is needed to heal. So we are taking that time to heal and start fresh. Not disappearing but taking a little step away from the doom scrolling and focusing on the parts and people that bring peace. Sharing and hoping this situation allows others who are going through similar situations to know that you’re not alone. And that’s it’s ok not to be ok.

Sometimes I just have to pause and realize how lucky I am. Lucky to have someone by my side through everything. Lucky to have found someone is weird as I am. Lucky to have such a kind hearted soul to be the father of my kids. I don’t know what planet you come from but I count my lucky stars that I found a person like you. A strong, funny and spontaneous guy who I cannot express enough gratitude towards.
15 years together, 10 years married and I still get butterflies every time. In Paris, we were able to renew our vows in such a romantic way. A moment I’ll never forget.
You’re my gift (along with our two beautiful munchkins). I love you to the moon and back J.

Their rehearsal dinner and wedding was held at a family estate. The grounds are gorgeous, full of history and it’s where Jessica has dreamed about having her wedding (ever since she was a little girl).
We are friends with most of the wedding party which made this past weekend so sentimental. But we also met so many amazing people and made some new friends. Definitely a weekend we will never forget.

Sometimes things in life just come to you in an unexpected way and I’m so happy that it did.
The 4 AM wake up call was 100% worth it for this bride and groom. We had the mountains all to ourselves and the sunrise was breathtaking. I was jumping up and down and “eppppppping” the entire time. This whole morning was so intimate and sentimental. I cannot wait to share more 🌄🌄🌄
