Just returned from my first ever Gibraltar U19 international camp in Croatia, and what an experience it was.
My first job as a manager, a milestone I’ll never forget. The level of detail, preparation, and behind the scenes work that goes into representing your country truly opened my eyes. It gave me a whole new appreciation for the staff, the processes, and the standards required at international level.
I loved every part of the week, the planning, the intensity, the learning, and the pressure that comes with competing against top nations.
But what I loved most.
The lads and my team of staff.
Their attitude, professionalism, and the belief they showed in what we wanted to do was second to none. They represented themselves, Gibraltar, and this age group with real pride. They made my first camp as a manager something special something I won’t forget.
I’ve learnt so much already and I’m excited about the future with this group of players. There’s real potential here, and I’m grateful to be part of their journey.
Onwards and upwards and can’t wait for the next one! 🇬🇮
