🇦🇷🇦🇲 Ashtarak Fútbol Club fue creado el 1 de abril de 2018 por Gonzalo Gedigian y un grupo de amigos de la comunidad armenia, inicialmente en un torneo de fútbol 7. Ashtarak comenzó bajo otro nombre, pero después de algunos meses de existencia, se sometió a una votación con casi 15 opciones para elegir su nombre definitivo. De esas opciones, la más elegida fue “Ashtarak”, que es el nombre de una ciudad en Armenia, con el fin de rendir homenaje a sus raíces culturales.
Desde su fundación, Ashtarak ha crecido de manera significativa en redes sociales, cuando recién en Instagram en esos años tener 5 mil seguidores era un montón, donde todo comenzó a plantearse de otro modo para seguir creciendo dentro y fuera de la cancha. En agosto del 2018 nos encontramos con la peor noticia donde Gonzalo Gedigian le diagnostican leucemia y que tenía que dejar de jugar, meses después el equipo continúo jugando y acompañando a nuestro amigo en su tratamiento hasta fines del 2019 donde el 28 de diciembre, nos encontramos con la peor noticia del fallecimiento de Gonzalo Gedigian, que fue hoy el que nos dejó el legajo de continuar con este proyecto tan lindo y de mantenerlo siempre presente con nosotros.
A partir de su partida, tomamos la decisión de que la camiseta con el número 32, que él usaba, ya no se volvería a utilizar, en honor a su memoria. Además, también nos dejó su frase que siempre nos decía: “¡A triunfar, que lo mejor está por venir!”, hoy sigue siendo nuestro motor para seguir adelante y luchar por los sueños de Ashtarak FC. ✨

nuestro fundador y motor del equipo, quien
dejó una huella imborrable en todos nosotros.
Desde su partida, el 32 se convirtió en
intocable, un símbolo de respeto y recuerdo.
Gonzalo siempre decía: “A triunfar, que lo mejor
está por venir”, y esa frase es hoy nuestro lema,
nuestra inspiración para cada desafío que
enfrentamos.
Llevamos su espíritu en cada partido, en cada
jugada y en cada victoria. Porque Ashtarak no
es solo un equipo, es una historia de pasión,
