I haven’t shown my face here in over 2.5 years. Let’s change that!
•I started shooting families 16 years ago when I was in college. That led to a 13 year career in weddings (that I am now retired from!) and thousands of beautiful moments captured. People are my muse. I love what I do.
•When I retired from weddings, I put a heavy focus into my photography studio We added The Greenhouse and expanded the gardens. I love caring for these spaces and making them a beautiful place to share!
•I am a 3 year breast cancer survivor. This diagnosis completely changed my life. It’s been extremely hard, but incredibly eye opening to how I want to live and love. I’m so grateful to be here every single day!
•My husband and I have two boys that keep our lives busy and so very full. Kindergarten and 2nd grade, I don’t know how we got here so fast! Precisely why I am so in love with this job. Capturing these fleeting moments in my own life and yours truly fills my cup.
•When I am not shooting or editing you can most likely find me in the garden. Growing cut flowers is such a huge love of my life. I’m passionate about eating healthy and moving my body. I love slow weekends at our pool with my boys. We just bought an RV and have some exciting future travel plans. Truly in love with dogs. Currently trying to convince my husband we need ducks. I love a good house project and bringing character into our home. Hosting our friends and family is a love language of mine. Currently cleaning for our end of summer glow stick pool party for the kids this weekend!
•The older I get (turned 37 last week!) I lean more into who I truly am in my soul. I am granting myself permission to find my true happiness in life. This new version of me has been fun to learn about. While being career driven and a go getter is absolutely who I am, it’s not all I am anymore 🤍 I love exploring my passions, slowing down, being intentional with my time and energy. The kind of self discovery only a life threatening diagnosis can provide you. It’s been raw and beautiful.
