One day while I was creating my debut album Creating Space, I was on a walk, and in my head I was imagining sharing my thoughts on creativity and lifestyle on a podcast. I then had the crazy idea that I could start MY OWN podcast that specifically integrates into my album. With the help of my AMAZING brother Justice, we made it a reality. This podcast will feature some of my close friends who are also musicians, and we’ll be discussing some of the topics covered in my songs on Creating Space in greater detail. Me & Alivia’s wedding day was better than i could have imagined. Standing at the altar with my beautiful bride, my best friends & my older brother as the officiant was incredibly special. The luscious garden, the delightful weather & the blue glistening lake michigan in my view; it was completely stunning. But what made the moment heavenly in the truest sense of with word was that God was present. I cried several times out of joy not only because I was marrying the love of my life, but because we were participating in an otherworldly covenant. As the tears were falling down my face during the opening prayer I looked at Alivia in her radiant beauty, and rather than being focused solely on her, I felt that we were both in awe in the presence of God. Like there was a small tear in the earthly atmosphere where I could get a small glimpse of Gods eternal glory. Alivia and I were somehow participating in something more holy than we could understand. I looked through the gazebo at the water and for a moment I truly felt like Jesus was standing with us.
Ok, I know it sounds like I’m writing a novel, but i’m being serious! Our wedding was an amazing testament of God’s grace & presence, and I will forever cherish that day.
