Here is what I did first.
1. Switch to all natural skincare. We have some of the best options around 😉. Caring for my skin holistically, simply and naturally allowed my skin barrier (therefore my acne) to heal without constantly being stripped and dried out.
2. Started making lifestyles switches. This can be a WHOLE series. But this is what I did first…
-started changing my diet to Whole Foods, with no artificial foods, sugar and ultra processed dairy.
- removed all toxins from my kitchen cabinets, cleaning supplies and beauty supplies. Just making one swap at a time as a bottle emptied worked for me.
-started researching nontoxic living and why it would benefit me.
3. Started to focus on managing stress and lowing chronic inflammation in my body. Lymphatic draining, moving my body, learning to truly relax and take care of myself (probably the hardest step of this whole journey) are all a huge part in healing your acne.

Ash + Stone was founded in 2019 by Ashton in her tiny dorm room after a long struggle with her skin. Working to find a solution for cystic acne, Ash + Stone was born.
Hunter joined the team when we got married in 2022. Hunter works behind the scenes on our website, graphics and all the aesthetics of our company. He also does pretty much everything else in the office!

Yes…this is still the Ash+Stone you all know and love but now with more information and knowledge poured into each product.
When I decided I wanted to reformulate several of our products, plus add more new products, my husband suggested we try rebranding as well.
When rebranding, we wanted to capture my childhood and the roots of where my holistic living came to be…San Diego. We wanted Ash+Stone to feel familiar, yet new and bright, still offering you powerful plant-based skincare. He did it beautifully.
Over the next few days, you are going to see lots of our new branding + our two new products, and the changes we have made to our existing ones. So stay tuned and get ready for August 1st when we will relaunch!
