Steeped in history and framed by one of the most iconic backdrops in Indian wildlife, Sita Mantap witnessed a royal moment during our recently concluded guided tour. Bajrang, the dominant male of Tala, arrived with purpose. The previous evening, Samrat had been around this very location, but on this day Bajrang seemed far from pleased with his rivalâs lingering presence.
As he approached the ancient Sita Mantap, he paused for a brief moment and cast a powerful glance behind him. A look filled with authority, confidence, and the unmistakable aura of a king defending his realm. It was one of those moments that remind us why Bandhavgarh is every wildlife photographerâs dream.
In Central India, success often comes down to being at the right place at the right time. Our team anticipated the movement, stayed patient, and was rewarded with a truly memorable encounter.
If Bandhavgarh is on your bucket list, our OctoberâDecember guided photography tours offer the perfect opportunity to experience such moments firsthand.
Enquiries are now open. Join us and witness the drama, history, and wilderness of Bandhavgarh like never before.

As the golden dust rose beneath their feet, two peacocks met in a clash of pride and passion. Feathers unfurled like royal banners, shimmering in the light, each displaying natureâs finest artistry in a contest for mating rights.
It was more than a fight it was a dance of dominance, a celebration of beauty and instinct. In a land where every creature strives to reign supreme, these magnificent birds reminded us that even elegance can be fierce.

Having travelled with them before, I already knew this wasnât going to be just another safari. One of the things I appreciate most about their trips is the emphasis on understanding the forest, not just chasing sightings.
From workshops conducted by our skipper, Arvind, to hours spent exploring the reserve, the experience reminded me why I enjoy guided wildlife tours so much. Once you start paying attention to alarm calls, bird activity, and the subtle signs around you, every drive through the forest becomes far more exciting.
And Bhadra certainly kept things interesting.
Beautiful landscapes, a fantastic stay at River Tern Lodge, incredible birdlife, and some unforgettable wildlife moments made this a trip to remember.
What I particularly enjoyed was that no sighting felt rushed. There was always a story behind what we were seeing and a chance to understand the behaviour of the animals and birds around us.
If youâre someone who enjoys wildlife, birding, photography, or simply wants to experience a forest beyond the usual tourist perspective, Bhadra is absolutely worth considering.
A big thank you to and for yet another memorable experience.

There has always been something special about the leopards of Bhadra. Their sightings may not be as frequent as in some other parks, but when fortune smiles, the forest rewards you with moments that are truly unforgettable.
On our recently concluded guided tour, this beautiful leopardess emerged in the soft golden morning light, basking in the warmth of the rising sun. For a few precious moments, she allowed us to witness her presence and capture her beauty. Then, as quickly as she appeared, she melted back into the wilderness, disappearing into the dense woods.
That is the magic of Bhadraâs leopardsâshy, elusive, and always keeping you wanting more.
Every sighting here feels earned. Every frame tells a story.
Looking forward to leading our next Bhadra guided tour this weekend and creating more such memories in the wild.

Today was one of those.
A black panther and a leopard, side by side, drinking water together at Bhadra. After a decade of visiting these forests,. Pure black and molten gold. When both tongues touched the water at the same time, I froze⌠and so did time. They say sightings like this are once in a lifetime, but I feel grateful to be part of this lifetime. A mother leading her young panther, still on the edge of separation, sharing a quiet drink under golden light no drama, no rush, just coexistence.
Some moments donât knock, they arrive quietly and change you forever.
Shot today on my private guided wildlife tour at Bhadra Tiger Reserve, this wasnât just a photograph, it was a feeling Iâll carry forever.

Leopards can see seven times better in the dark than humans. Being nocturnal animals, they are more active at night and spend their days resting, camouflaged in the trees or hiding in caves.Leopards are fast felines and can run at up to 58km/h! A melanistic leopard, wherein the entire coat of the animal is black in colour, is often called the Black Panther. It is mistakenly thought to be a different species but it is not. It belongs to the same family except the skin is darker in color. conic, agile, elusive, curious and love!
Here are a few of my favourite sightings from my journey, every image from this series is very personal and of course my love of leopards is immortal â¨
