I have never felt the Easter morning like it was today! Resurrection power! New life in Jesus who has been given all power and authority on earth and in heaven! Thank you Lord for the gift of your life- given for us so that we may know the love of our Lord and be welcomed into heaven, our names written in the Book of Life when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior! #easter #resurrectionsunday #happyeaster #heisrisenindeed
Today on earth you would be 35,
BUT you have eternity now.
I can stilll feel your Kiowa-Apache and Tonkawa hair in my hands as I plaited your long black hair into braids, BUT now you have angel wings where your braids once swung.
I can still hear the band director announcing your win in the Foothill High School Marching Band Drill Down for The 3rd year in a row, BUT now you play your clarinet with a host of heavenly musicians.
I can hear your laugh bouncing off the walls of our home as you play with your younger brother and sister, and now you have the heavenly spirits to laugh and sing with.
Your friends called you a warrior for peace, and now you march in a mighty army of warriors for the King of Kings.
One day we will meet again, and until then I will remember and celebrate the 20 years of birthdays you had on earth.
