How come?
☀️Reduced sun exposure/sweating
• Baking out in the sun is a no-no for fresh tattoos, so getting tattooed in winter is ideal because there is far less sun exposure and your clothing layers will provide protection for your new tattoo! Winter also means less sweating/irritation.
💧No water activities!
• Fresh tattoos cannot be submerged in any body of water, so during summer months you must avoid swimming/hot tubs/pools, etc. Thankfully during the winter, you can get tattooed without worrying about restrictions interfering with plans and your tattoo will be fully healed by the summer!
🩸 If you’re looking for a healing process that is less affected by environmental factors- getting tattooed in the colder months can definitely be a bit more comfortable- as the winter routine is naturally more slow and we tend to stay indoors and rest during this time!
