Le fuí poco a poco tomando el gusto, cada vez me gustaba más salir a correr, estar en la naturaleza, se me hacía menos complicado y comenzaba a tener más aire y resistencia.

Un día, salió una convocatoria, una carrera, 21km, y en mi mente pasaba: "21km? Jamás has corrido eso, pero has corrido 12 o 13km a buen ritmo, será que puedo con eso?“ y sin más, me animé y me animaron a entrar a ese medio maratón. Por supuesto que pasaba por mi cabeza el que mentalmente me iba a quebrar, pues 21km era mucho tiempo (aparte de que no soy fan de escuchar música mientras corro o hago cualquier tipo de ejercicio) y varios decían que la parte mental es fundamental más allá del físico.

Sin más, me aventé al ruedo sin expectativas, solo con la mirada en poder terminar la carrera, y así fue como en 1 hora y 45min, terminé mi primer medio maratón, sin cansancio físico ni mental, lo disfruté como nunca y me quedé con ganas de volver a hacerlo. No cabe duda que tu cuerpo llega hasta donde tu mente lo lleva.

Trabajar cuerpo, mente, alma y corazón, es sin duda algo que se debe hacer. Me encantó ver a tanta gente disfrutando de correr, de cuidarse. Y sobre todo de sentir también ese apoyo de la/s persona/s que quieres en ese momento sin duda te reconforta ❤️🩹.
